Jan's Simple and Tasty Egg Rolls

Super quick and delicious egg rolls! Great as an appetizer, side dish, or after school snack. Be creative with the filling by adding other things such as crabmeat in place of the shrimp. Who needs take out when you can make egg rolls yourself?

  • (16 ounce) bags coleslaw mix
  • (4 ounce) cans small shrimp, drained
  • tablespoons chopped garlic
  • teaspoons ground black pepper
  • teaspoons Diamond Crystal┬« Fine Sea Salt
  • tablespoon soy sauce
  • tablespoon onion powder
  • (16 ounce) package large egg roll wrappers (such as Nasoya┬«)
  • quart vegetable oil for frying
  • Soy  sauce (optional)
  • Chinese  hot prepared mustard (optional)
