  • large onion, diced
  • green bell pepper, diced

  • cups sauerkraut, drained
  • (15 ounce) cans red beans, drained and rinsed
  • (15 ounce) cans petite diced tomatoes
  • (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • (12 fluid ounce) cans tomato juice
  • (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle German-style beer
  • tablespoon salt
  • tablespoon black pepper
  • tablespoon cumin
  • 1/4  cup chili powder
  • tablespoons white sugar
  • teaspoons garlic powder
  • teaspoons paprika
  • teaspoon allspice
  • teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 ounces milk chocolate candy
