A traditional dish normally eaten by Teo Chew Chinese during Chinese New Year.
Wash the duck thoroughly
Cook the water in a big wok put in Allspice powder, sugar, ginger, and red onions
Put in the duck after the water is boiled
Add in soy sauce and thick soy sauce. Taste the mixture see how is the saltiness
Lower the fire level and cover the wok with lid and let the mixture cooked for another 1 hour
Turn off the fire and take out the duck and remain the sauce in the wok
Cut the duck into piece and serve in a plate. Top the dish with the sauce in the wok
